Legion of Mary

The Legion of Mary is a worldwide apostolic organisation of lay Catholics, dedicated to the glory of God through prayer and active service under the banner of Our Blessed Mother.

At Our Lady of Lourdes and St Bernadette, Larbert, our local praesidium (parish group) faithfully carries out works of spiritual outreach, compassion, and Marian devotion in our parish and wider community. Inspired by the humility and courage of Our Lady, we strive to bring Christ to others through gentle action and steadfast prayer.

We are currently welcoming new members into the Legion – and there’s a place for everyone:

• Active Legionaries attend weekly meetings and take part in the apostolic work of the Legion, such as visiting the sick, praying with the housebound, or supporting parish initiatives.
• Auxiliary Legionaries support this work through the powerful ministry of daily prayer, offering up the official Legion prayers as a vital spiritual foundation for the mission.
